







Keswick School is an 11-18, Academy with an impressive record in education, locally and internationally. This admission policy for Keswick School (Academy) has been determined for 2013 – 2014 by the academy trust governors, this is in accordance with the requirements of the School Admissions Code 2012. This is on the website for consultation for eight weeks. If there are any concerns or observations, please contact the school at admissions@keswick.cumbria.sch.uk. This consultation has been delayed by the need to react to the new admissions code.

Year 10 Work Experience Information Evening for Parents in the Queens Hall
In the new year work will be starting to construct a new flood defence wall along Crosthwaite Road. To enable this to be carried out Crosthwaite Road will be closed to all vehicles from the entrance to Fitz Park to the St Herbert's Centre from 3 January 2012 until 5 April 2012. There will be vehicle access to Limepots Road from High Hill and to the football club and car park from the hospital end of Crosthwaite Road. Pedestrian access along Crosthwaite Road will be maintained at all times. For a map of the diversion please see the attached file.
Work will also be recommencing on Penrith Road in the new year to complete the flood defences in that area. This will include the installation of a floodgate by Wivell footbridge and while this work is underway Wivell footbridge will be closed.
